2027 Summer Pairs Puzzle League

Team up with your favorite puzzling partner for a summer of friendly competition at Mind Quest Puzzles and Games! Our local summer league runs June 6–July 24, 2027, with six competition nights and an awards celebration.

This league is designed for experienced pairs who consistently complete a 500-piece puzzle in under 90 minutes.

Registration: $75 per pair | $37.50 per person
Includes six competition nights, awards night, weekly door-prize drawings, and free puzzle swap participation.

How the League Works

• Complete one assigned 500-piece puzzle each competition night. All teams use the same six league puzzles.

• Your five fastest official times count toward standings. At least five official results are required; the lowest combined time wins within each division.

• The same two partners must complete all scored puzzles. Solo or substitute attempts do not count, and puzzles attempted with a substitute cannot be made up.

• Approved makeups depend on availability and must be completed by July 16 at 8 p.m.

• You may study the box before starting. Timing begins when you open the lid; pieces cannot be handled beforehand.

• Stop after 90 minutes. Each remaining unconnected piece adds 10 seconds to your score. Coordinator-confirmed missing pieces carry no penalty.

• Each pair receives half a 6-foot table. Sorting trays, box-top holders, and timers are welcome within your assigned space.

• The coordinator verifies and records results in person. All puzzle pieces must be carefully bagged and returned afterward.

• Ties are decided by comparing fastest official times, followed by next-fastest times as needed.

The top five pairs in each division will be recognized, with prizes for first, second, and third place!

Bring gently used 300–1,000-piece puzzles for the included swap, meet fellow puzzlers, and enjoy a summer of teamwork and fun.
