Boxcar Flower Farm

Boxcar Flower Farm is a women-owned farm located in a former parking lot in front of the beautiful train station in West Oakland. During the pandemic, Jane Hammond and Linh Becker became active volunteers to keep the garden going and eventually purchased it. Years of soil amendment and a developing pollinator ecosystem have led to a proliferation of a wide variety of flowers in a one-sixth acre plot.
