Sunset at Cape Lookout - Heritage

Its diagonal checkerboard design is recognized around the world.  This puzzle pays tribute to this noble beacon that has illuminated the Atlantic shoreline since 1859.  Standing 150 feet tall, it is the only lighthouse that operates during the day and is visible 12 miles to sea.
